Blake Lively voted world’s most desirable woman

The 23-year-old actress – who called time on her three-year romance with ‘Gossip Girl’ co-star Penn Badgley last September – has beaten the likes of Katy Perry, Scarlett Johansson and Cheryl Cole to top the online poll of 5 million men.

Conducted by AskMen.com, the survey saw ‘Black Swan’ actress Mila Kunis – who recently split from ‘Home Alone’ star Macaulay Culkin after eight years together – voted in second place, with ‘Modern Family’s Sofia Vergara landing a third place position.

Meanwhile, supermodel Selita Ebanks and Victoria’s Secret model Miranda Kerr – who welcomed Flynn, her first child with actor husband Orlando Bloom, into the world last month – rounded off the top five.

However, those who voted Blake into the top spot are unlikely to ever see her out partying, as she recently admitted she is a “homebody” who hates going out.

She said: “I’m much more of a homebody than a person who goes out. I don’t think I’ve ever been to a club other than to see a band or if the ‘Gossip Girl’ producers are throwing an after-party specifically for us to go to, or the red carpet.

But I have never gone out, just to go out, because I don’t really find it that fun. I like to go and listen to live music and stuff, so that’s when I’ll go out.”But I have never gone out, just to go out, because I don’t really find it that fun. Naomi Campbell wants to exercise more

The 40-year-old supermodel admits she doesn’t work out as much as she would like to but believes having a healthy mind keeps her fit.

She said: “Actually, I don’t work out as much as I should, but I do believe that it’s a healthy mind as well as a healthy body that keeps me fit, sound and calm.”

However, one exercise Naomi is fan of is swimming and has been doing a lot of it since moving to Russia to be with her Russian real estate entrepreneur boyfriend Vladislav Doronin.

Actually, I don’t work out as much as I should, but I do believe that it’s a healthy mind as well as a healthy body that keeps me fit, sound and calm. She told Britain’s GQ magazine: “Since I’ve been living in Russia, I noticed most people here swim the butterfly. I can’t swim the butterfly, but I was just in the Dead Sea in Jordan and it was the first time I floated in my whole life.”

While she doesn’t exercise as much as she would like, Naomi recently revealed she undergoes an extreme detox three times a year in a bid to maintain her stunning figure.

The supermodel admitted she has just Maple syrup, cayenne pepper and lemon juice in a cocktail form for days on end and credited it with her being able to stay in shape.

She said: “I try to do this three times a year. The most I’ve ever done it for is 18 days. So I started on Sunday. This is the sixth day.

“It’s good just to clean out your body once in a while.”

Kelly Clarkson’s Airbrushing Controversy

Kelly Clarkson’s recent magazine front cover was airbrushed to ensure she looked “her personal best”.

Self magazine has defended the decision to digitally slim down an image of the ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ singer for their September issue.

Lucy Danziger, editor-in-chief of the women’s health magazine, said in a posting on Self.com: “Do we retouch? Yes! Did we alter her appearance? Only to make her look her personal best.

“Of course we do retouching. We correct colour and other aspects of the digital pictures we take and then publish the best version we can.

Self magazine has defended the decision to digitally slim down an image of the ‘My Life Would Suck Without You’ singer for their September issue”Did we publish an act of fiction? No. Not unless you think all photos are that. But in the sense that Kelly is the picture of confidence, and she truly is, then I think this photo is the truest we have ever put out there on the newsstand.”

Danziger believes Kelly’s altered appearance is “inspiring” to women, despite claiming the former ‘American Idol’ winner is a great role model because she doesn’t care about her weight.

She said: “This is art, creativity and collaboration. It is meant to inspire women to want to be their best. That is the point.

“That is what we all relate to. Whether she is up or down in pounds is irrelevant (and to set the record straight, she works out and does boot-camp-style training, so she is as fit as anyone else we have featured in Self). Kelly says she doesn’t care what people think of her weight. So we say, that is the role model for the rest of us.”

In an interview with the magazine, the 27-year-old singer insisted she doesn’t worry about her body even though she is often criticised for her fluctuating figure.

She said: “My happy weight changes. Sometimes I eat more, sometimes I play more. I’ll be different sizes all the time.

“When people talk about my weight, I’m like, ‘You seem to have a problem with it,’ I don’t. I’m fine! I’ve never felt uncomfortable on the red carpet or anything.”

Sofia Vergara creates fashion range with Kmart

Sofia Vergara is to launch her own fashion range.

The ‘Modern Family’ actress has teamed up with US store Kmart to create a young, contemporary collection of footwear, jewellery and clothing at affordable prices.

She told WWD of the new line: “This is kind of natural for me. I have always been interested in clothes and make-up and beauty. I’m not lounging around in sweat clothes and flip-flops. Maybe a nice pair of sweats.

I love the dresses, especially because Kmart doesn’t really have that kind of merchandise. There is no dress department. I also love the miniskirts most.”I love the dresses, especially because Kmart doesn’t really have that kind of merchandise. There is no dress department. I also love the miniskirts most.”

Sofia says she was keen to work with Kmart because they have items everyone can afford.

The sexy star said: “This is not a new store for me. When you have kids you don’t go to Bergdorf Goodman to buy underwear and socks. You go to Kmart.”

Rick Darling – President of LF USA and who worked on the collection – added: “We think Vergara’s perfect. We don’t see her as risque at all -just a lot of fun with a wonderful attitude, solid fashion sense and flair, and with a sound business side.”

Mariah Carey expecting a boy and a girl

The couple – who are due to have twins in April – have revealed they will be welcoming a baby of each gender into the world, and were surprised nobody had guessed their happy secret.

Mariah, 40, told Life & Style magazine: “Even before we announced it was twins, I was trying to keep everything gender-neutral because I didn’t want to impose an identity on them too soon.

There were fan contests on twitter about what gender they are and rumours about them being two boys or two girls – but nobody guessed this!”There were fan contests on twitter about what gender they are and rumours about them being two boys or two girls – but nobody guessed this!”

Meanwhile, Nick – who broke the news the couple were expecting their first children back in December – confirmed they would be having mixed gender twins.

He told E! Online: “It’s a touchy issue because you never want to say too much too early. If my wife says it’s true, then it is.”

The 30-year-old actor-and-comedian recently admitted he and Mariah have come up with some “unique” names for their unborn offspring.

Nick said: “They won’t be getting crazy names like Carburetor or something. But they’re definitely unique.”
